This disc seems to be a duplicate of disc 4 of CB Essentials 483 (see his doc below).

I does a quick compare with mine. 

But "Chartbuster Karaoke CDG’s - Greatest Songs of Pop 2003 Female (3 Discs)" lists other songs for disc 1.

Possibly 5004-01R is not 5004-01?

GoldMix posted the No Doubt (track 16) song as track 17 which was an error.

 

WHAT I STATED, was that if he had No Doubt as track 17, then the missing track

could possibly ben amongst the other 16 tracks that he had for that disc, and I 

posted that list so that he (GoldMix) could check his tracks aginst that listing.

 

That being said I've checked back through a usenet archive from 2013 and

found another posting giving track 17 as No Doubt, with track 16 being

 

CB5004 1-16 - Jones, Norah - Come Away With Me

 

Which is not on any of the other discs in that pack, but is also listed as

CB5100-1-13 and CB5128-3-07 ~~ ChartBuster were notorious for

duplications of tracks thoughout their catalogue.
 

So, all that being said I think that we can conclude that the

missing trcak is the Norah Jones 'Come Awy' song, but we

just don't know what the correct track number is.

should be.

 

Ah! I see what you mean now. Yes, Norah Jones is not a track which I have listed.

They really do highlight the fact that Laserdisc is in fact an ANALOGUE format and not digital as some people may believe.

They are more VHS than Blu-Ray 

I have played one or two of them and I have experienced a few "skips".

It is on the back burner for now but I will try and put together a list of duff tracks and see if we can build the best collection available between us.

Hi,

I have played quite a few of these tracks and every one glitches to some degree, so I don't think I am going to bother doing anything with them.

Also, it seems that the .mpg format isn't recognised by MP3Tag so the files cannot be tagged or easily renamed.

Maybe another utility could rename them, but the glitchiness has put me off!

 

Thoughts?

Or any Chartbusters disc numbered version of it. If it came out with vocals on CB (Chartbusters) could I have a copy of that of as well? (I haven't got that far yet, but just in case!)
