Maybe I can clarify: The Karaoke-Version Catalog does NOT come with a prefix. I prefer KVD as the “Album”: KVD= “Karaoke Version Download” – I find it useful while sorting/searching. The official KV Catalog comes in .XML format. I have included a snippet of the file converted to an excel spreadsheet format along with the current official Catalog. Here is the current Catalog: [Hidden Content] To clarify the misunderstands on the lower numbers, higher numbers, I will try to explain: The lower number “ID2” as shown in the example is the CORRECT ID for the Artist and Song. The higher number, “ID6” is NOT the Catalog Number. This number indicates Format, Track Type, With or Without Background Vocals, and if has Lead Singer Vocals. Karaoke-Versions.com adds 500+ unique songs each month plus many more variations of that song. Each month I convert the .XML Catalog into an Excel spreadsheet, remove duplicates, add my prefix “KVD”, sort, and then save to a PDF.
