Just wondering if anyone has a full listing for NorthStar Karaoke? I have tried using KSLC, but there are no indicators of whether the song belongs to the Country or Pop releases. They are all just bunched into one group, and I have a bunch of unnumbered and uncategorised that I would like to rename with proper codes so I can add them to everyones growing collection.  Thanks, Cheers.

Open up KSLC.

Towards the top on the left, there's a drop-arrow labelled

CLICK THIS DROP DOWN LIST TO FIND DISC CODES

In the 'N's of that list you'll see two entries for North Stra:

NORTH STAR COUNTRY   NM

NORTHSTAR POP                 NM

If you click the Country entry it'll take you to NM discs starting at NM3001

If you click the Pop entry it'll take you to NM discs starting at NM2001

Hoping someone can explain this for me. KV - Karaoke Version, I am seeing two different listings, an example of this is:

KV-86371 - Zach Top - Things To Do

and

KV-10911943 - Zach Top - Things To Do

The catalogue which was recently posted, and dated March this year (thank you, whoever it was! Appreciated) doesn't seem to have any of the higher numbers, but the 86371 is listed.

My question is simple, is 10911943 an order number, and 86371 a catalogue number? Why the 2 numbers? Over to you BJ or anyone who knows!

I have absolutely no idea why this is; but I do have thoughts on it though.

There seem to be three methods of file naming for KV, and what I've

deduced is this (which may or may not be correct:

KV ~~ lower numbers ~~ bought from the KV website.

KV -- higher numbers ~~ bought by clicking a link on the iCroons

website giving iCroons commision for linking to KV

KVD ~~~  I've no idea at all where these originate .

For those reasons above I file my KV's

Artist - Title - KV-number

If I do have a number I put it as the last figure in the

track title ~~ but I do have a lot of KV's which don't

have numbers and which can't be found either on

iCroons or on any of the KV lists that I've seen, so I

just put KV at the end so that I know which

manufacturer produces it.

Maybe I can clarify: The Karaoke-Version Catalog does NOT come with a prefix. I prefer KVD as the “Album”:  KVD= “Karaoke Version Download” – I find it useful while sorting/searching.

The official KV Catalog comes in .XML format. I have included a snippet of the file converted to an excel spreadsheet format along with the current official Catalog. Here is the current Catalog:

To clarify the misunderstands on the lower numbers, higher numbers, I will try to explain:

The lower number “ID2” as shown in the example is the CORRECT ID for the Artist and Song.

The higher number, “ID6” is NOT the Catalog Number. This number indicates Format, Track Type, With or Without Background Vocals, and if has Lead Singer Vocals.

Karaoke-Versions.com adds 500+ unique songs each month plus many more variations of that song.

Each month I convert the .XML Catalog into an Excel spreadsheet, remove duplicates, add my prefix “KVD”, sort, and then save to a PDF. You can download the official .XML file here:

Good day everyone. I have a big problem with my Sax & Dotty Show Presenter Pro program. I cannot get the program to work at all. When I try to start the program, I receive an error that says: "This application is not installed correctly, Connection to database failed". I have e-mailed Sax & Dotty support for both the original website and the Pro website, but have received no response. I have even completely uninstalled, redownloaded the program, and reinstalled with the error still continuing. Has this happed to anyone else here, and if it did, how did you fix it? And help or suggestions are appreciated, as I am not very program savvy. Thank You

I'm sorry I can't help you with your specific problem. Have you checked your email spam folder and or blocked email?

They generally answer emails within a day of so, and I have always received a reply.

Did you look at their website for downloading instructions and follow along.

Just spit balling suggestions.

First check your spam folder.
