Hey everyone, just after a bit of advice. My dad’s retiring, and I’m planning to take over his karaoke business. The only issue is that he’s got over 1000 karaoke CDs that he’s been using for years.

I’m wondering what the best option would be — should I try to convert all those CDs into digital files so I can run everything from my laptop, or would it make more sense to sell the CDs and just download digital versions online instead?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions! Hope you’re all having a great weekend 🎤

Go digital and don't worry about the discs; and converting those discs to

digital would be a supreme waste of time, duplicating work that has been

done by many before you.

1000 discs ~~ maybe 15000 titles, many of them duplicate songs ~~ you'll

be able to offer a much larger selection to your singists with a computer:

You'll very soon get fed up lumping the discs about.

Discs are easy to damage, and you have the whole faffle of changing discs

every time you change song.

You'll find it hard to sell the discs unless there are any rare ones.
