 The link is still working but at almost 50GB it will take quite a while to download

 

But that being said it might still be quicker than MEGA because of download limits

Link to torrent-file is working, but that's only one piece of the puzzle.

I was not able to download any mpg with a torrent client.

I also found out that I have already downloaded that torrent a long time ago - guess I had no luck the last time.

Use a VPN to avoid Mega's download limits.

 

Procedure runs like this:

1. Download less than 5GB.
2. Change your location with your VPN.
3. Go to step 1 and repeat cycle.

Those 57 discs were issued with two different prefixes (but identical content),

PKL and WKL.

 

In addition to those 114 sides that Hazz is very kindly sharing, I have some others that

may be of interest, there may be others that I haven't tracked down as yet:

 

PKL201 to PKL211 ~ I'm missing PKL210B-04 - Tammy Wynette - Another Lonely Song

 

PKL251: side A is Christmas Songs and Side B is Children's songs

 

PKL301 to PKL311 ~ the copies that I have of PKL311, both sides, are of visibly lower

quality than the others.

 

Pioneer Karaoke Deutsch Vol 01 & Pioneer Karaoke Deutsch Vol 02. 

There are only 10 tracks on each of these so it's my assumption that it's actually

2 sides of one disc.

 

Pioneer LD-G-Vol.3 Francais LaserDisc.

only has 10 tracks.

 

Some of the tracks of the above I have as both AVI and MPEG

Thanks for these Hazz,

I am just taking a quick peek at them.

They really do highlight the fact that Laserdisc is in fact an ANALOGUE format and not digital as some people may believe.

They are more VHS than Blu-Ray 

I have played one or two of them and I have experienced a few "skips".

It is on the back burner for now but I will try and put together a list of duff tracks and see if we can build the best collection available between us.

**I have a feeling that everyone may have the same files, but we shall see...*

Although the laserdisc quality is nothing what you expect these days, a missing song could be found in the collection.

I'm currently uploading the mpgs that I have.

 

But:

- That are only German songs (~ 270) and a few Italian (16)

- I do not know the original disc (number) where they are from

- They are named as "title - artist.mpg"

Let me explain before anyone jumps down my throat. The 5,000 series consists of 3 discs per set, and the series is "50 Greatest". Each disc set, going off the others, contains 17, 17, and 16 tracks, making up the 50, but I am missing the one above. I have checked in 8 different databases, and I can find no listing.

 

So if somebody can, I would be grateful, and even more grateful if someone actually has the track. Many thanks.

Ttat is actually track 16 from disc 1, not track17.

 

It could be that if you have 17 tracks listed for disc 1, then the missing track 

might be amongst those.

I didn't say that I had the missing track ~ only that what you posted was not

that 'missing track'; read the list (taken from KSLC) that I posted ~ which

was 16+17+16.

 

GoldMix posted the No Doubt (track 16) song as track 17 which was an error.

 

WHAT I STATED, was that if he had No Doubt as track 17, then the missing track

could possibly ben amongst the other 16 tracks that he had for that disc, and I 

posted that list so that he (GoldMix) could check his tracks aginst that listing.

 

That being said I've checked back through a usenet archive from 2013 and

found another posting giving track 17 as No Doubt, with track 16 being

 

CB5004 1-16 - Jones, Norah - Come Away With Me

 

Which is not on any of the other discs in that pack, but is also listed as

CB5100-1-13 and CB5128-3-07 ~~ ChartBuster were notorious for

duplications of tracks thoughout their catalogue.
 

So, all that being said I think that we can conclude that the

missing trcak is the Norah Jones 'Come Awy' song, but we

just don't know what the correct track number is.

I have a vague memory of noticing this when I did the "big tidy up"....

I seem to remember going on ebay and looking for the actual discs to read the track listing from the disc sleeve.

I then nicked the track from one of the other folders you mentioned.
