Health not good right now, but getting better.

 

Gigs confined to Saturdays right now, generally slow except for residencies

at this time of year - and cowboys shot in and undercut me on the three

that I had.

 

Management can't understand why things are quieter than they were three

years back; I mean, it can't be the entertainment can it ??? Karaokes are

all the same, aren't they ??

Awful isn't it. Pubs closing here, there and everywhere, my gaffer retired after New years, not that it was quiet or anything, he's just had enough at 70, but hasn't sold, its now his retirement home complete with bar!

 

Your right about the cowboys, pick up an hard drive and laptop, plug into venues system, and off they go, zero personality, and no pints being sold.

 

This time of year is when I usually go through all the karaoke while its quiet, finding dups, renames etc., but not at the moment.....

I find it hard to credit that only myself and one other person 'Dutch1'

have bothered to a click a LIKE or a for this incredibly generous share

of Home-Made karaoke.

 

This stuff does not grow on trees and is not easily available anywhere

(at least not until it's been posted here and then picked up and posted

to torrent sites elsewhere).

 

It takes an absolute age to upload to these sharing sites.

 

If you don't show appreciation to those sharing here then don't be

surprised if the sharing stops.

Every 4 months they update the torrent with all the new stuff which the above is up to December 2023.

My question is am I allowed to post a link to the torrent here?

The Owner of this torrent site regularly asks me to download his updates from this collective group of karaoke makers and share here.

I do this after sorting thru' them which takes 3 to 5 days and as per this page i have done just that so that when you all download what you want it's in the same format as all the same previous uploads i have made keeps the same format.

I wasn't trying to cause any trouble, as I am one of those people in the group of karaoke makers, I was just trying to share the torrent that's all.

Also I don't understand why you would change the naming format as it makes it harder to see if you have all the files for that person.

If the file numbers are first you can easily sort to make sure you have them all. For example I know you are missing files from The Laughing Gnome folder.

Again I am not trying to cause trouble just trying to understand the process.

Thank you, it was so long ago that I did the Reggae ones I will have a look if I have the original files, but I suspect I no longer have them.

Also keep a look out as I have about a dozen new reggae ones in my next batch to do due to a rabbit hole I went down.

They should be available end of Feb.

 

Also thank you for all the hard work you do to put all these files together
