Skydancer Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 John Wick Ballerina - Coming June 6th. I must confess to being a huge John Wick fan. Coming June 6th is John Wick, Ballerina. Starring Keanu Reeves, Ana de Armas, and the usual cast. A movie directed by Len Wiseman. It takes place between the events of John Wick, Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick, Chapter 4. Eve Macarro, a ballerina-assassin, begins to train in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma and sets out to exact revenge for her father's death. I can't wait to see this movie. June 6th feels an awfully long way away. Below is the extended trailer.... 3 1
V3SP4EV3R Posted April 12 Report Posted April 12 A few days ago I saw "Novocaine", intrigued by the trailer and the presence of Jack Quaid, the actor from "The Boys". The film is hardly a masterpiece but it manages to wring a few laughs out of you! It's a mixture of a poor John Wick and a sluggish Crank in a romantic comedy sauce. It still lets you watch it and in the end is not bad. 6
Tony da Ink Posted April 13 Report Posted April 13 i have started re-watching the first series of Gangs of London , great stuff and i heard they going to start with series 3, so thats a plus 3 1

Skydancer Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 Avatar (2009) I just rewatched both Avatar, and Avatar - The Way of Water, so I felt I would include both to this review. Both staring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña. Directed by James Cameron. My opinion is, you've seen this story a hundred times, but never like this. The effects are nothing short of breathtaking. You'll absolutely enjoy the visual experience. As for the story, some of the "inspirations" are so huge and so obvious that mentioning two or three of them would REALLY ruin the movie for you, and I'm not willing to do that. Lots of mysticism and ecology, if you like that stuff. If you're an experienced movie watcher, better leave your skepticism at the door, bring lots of popcorn and enjoy the incredible special effects. Avatar - The Way of Water The sequel takes place some years after the original story in Pandora, the Na’vi, led by Jake Sully (Sam Worthington, the returning marine-avatar hero) and living a happy existence with his warrior wife (Zoe Saldaña) and his several children. Their idyll is threatened when an old foe returns, and Sully and his family must escape to a neighboring kingdom: a partly underwater world, where they must learn to adapt to a totally different lifestyle from their forest environment. They do so with the help of a school of whale-like alien creatures, highly intelligent and hunted by humans for their valuable resources. I loved both movies, from start to end. Defiantly a Skydancer thumbs up... 3 2
Skydancer Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 The Legend of Ochi (2025) I just watched The Legend of Ochi and I have to admit that I really enjoyed this movie. Staring Helena Zengel, Willem Dafoe, and directed by Isaiah Saxon. It begins in a remote village on the island of Carpathia, a young girl named Yuri is raised to fear the reclusive forest creatures known as the Ochi. However, when she discovers a baby Ochi left behind by its pack, she embarks on a perilous journey to reunite the creature with its family. As Yuri ventures deeper into the forest, she faces dangerous challenges and learns valuable lessons about courage, friendship, and the importance of protecting nature. Definably give this a look, you won't be sorry. A Skydancer thumbs up.... 4

V3SP4EV3R Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 Out of curiosity the other day I watched “Bullet Train Explosion”, and I must admit that it is not that bad. Clearly inspired by “Speed”, the movie always keeps a good pace and there is no shortage of twists and turns, some a bit absurd, others a bit too predictable, but it reminded me of the action movies of some time ago that I had always enjoyed. 4
Tony da Ink Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 (edited) another greats series is THE GENTLEMEN, a Guy Ritche smacker that rolls along at a great pace and is good and funny too !! season two is in the pipeline to be finished soon, end 2025 or early 26 Edited April 27 by Tony da Ink 4

V3SP4EV3R Posted Sunday at 05:02 AM Report Posted Sunday at 05:02 AM Yesterday out of boredom I watched "Death of a Unicorn". I honestly can't define it well, it's a dark comedy that wants to pass itself off as horror with a fantasy subplot. The movie entertains quite good, although I don't know when I will watch it again... 1
Skydancer Posted Sunday at 06:32 AM Report Posted Sunday at 06:32 AM I've just got a hold of this but haven't watched it yet. The trailers looked interesting. Thank you so much for the review... 1
