John Wick Ballerina - Coming June 6th.

I must confess to being a huge John Wick fan. Coming June 6th is John Wick, Ballerina.  Starring Keanu Reeves, Ana de Armas, and the usual cast. A movie directed by Len Wiseman.

It takes place between the events of John Wick, Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick, Chapter 4.  Eve Macarro, a ballerina-assassin, begins to train in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma and sets out to exact revenge for her father's death.

I can't wait to see this movie. June 6th feels an awfully long way away.

Below is the extended trailer.... 🥰

A few days ago I saw "Novocaine", intrigued by the trailer and the presence of Jack Quaid, the actor from "The Boys". The film is hardly a masterpiece but it manages to wring a few laughs out of you! It's a mixture of a poor John Wick and a sluggish Crank in a romantic comedy sauce. It still lets you watch it and in the end is not bad.

Avatar (2009)

I just rewatched both Avatar, and Avatar - The Way of Water, so I felt I would include both to this review. Both staring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña. Directed by James Cameron.

My opinion is, you've seen this story a hundred times, but never like this. The effects are nothing short of breathtaking. You'll absolutely enjoy the visual experience.

As for the story, some of the "inspirations" are so huge and so obvious that mentioning two or three of them would REALLY ruin the movie for you, and I'm not willing to do that. Lots of mysticism and ecology, if you like that stuff. If you're an experienced movie watcher, better leave your skepticism at the door, bring lots of popcorn and enjoy the incredible special effects.

Avatar - The Way of Water

The sequel takes place some years after the original story in Pandora, the Na’vi, led by Jake Sully (Sam Worthington, the returning marine-avatar hero) and living a happy existence with his warrior wife (Zoe Saldaña) and his several children.

Their idyll is threatened when an old foe returns, and Sully and his family must escape to a neighboring kingdom: a partly underwater world, where they must learn to adapt to a totally different lifestyle from their forest environment.

They do so with the help of a school of whale-like alien creatures, highly intelligent and hunted by humans for their valuable resources.

I loved both movies, from start to end. Defiantly a Skydancer thumbs up... 🥰
