What would you put in its place? The punk explosion started more in 76, and was still going into the eighties with the clash and Sham 69 to name but two. It defined an era in music history.

Still have this, and it still works, although nowhere near as good as it once was. My mate still uses it now, only thing he has ever used... Great piece of software.

Quite right BJ, they are converted twice, once to wav then to mp3 @192. I decided years and years ago after taking the official sound comparison test for bitrates, and a lot of reading up on audio formats that 192 was about right for a CD. I have stuck with this ever since and am happy with that choice. As I said why have dolby 5.12 for someone to grab a mic and kill it anyway.

I wasn't sure scotty, there was a flurry of post and I couldn't keep up with who had a what! So I threw them on anyway. If you recall BJ was going to try to find his original disc for one of them, and re-rip it, but I can't remember which....
