First thing, let me extend a MASSIVE thank you for the rapid turnaround on some fantastic tracks! Having said that, I wanted to let you know that there is some weird audio artifacting in the copy of Knopfler's "What It Is" I got. It kind of sounds like a mic picked up someone closing a car door or something. That one is not really a priority as there is a decent version available in the wild already, but I have a feeling you are something of a perfectionist so wanted to make sure you were aware.

I did not release them before because I was not completely happy with them. I have improved the timing and phrasing, as well as improving the vocal removal, and feel they may be good enough now. (Not really completely happy with some, especially #11 & #19, but it is the best I can get for now.) As I fix and make others, I will share them. Anybody here ????? Seems awful quiet. In case anybody has missed them I'm posting up a huge number of Dancing Frog karaoke tracks now as a result of someobody asking me (in another forum on another site, but I dupe all of my torrents across 3 different sites) to fill their colleciton. Don't turn your nose up at these because they're Home Made - they are very very well done, and better than many commercial releases. JD Crooner, who produced the Dancing Frog tracks, died a couple of years back - so there are only 162 of his regular 'discs' plus anothe 10 that were specials - but that's just under 2300 tracks many of them not duplicated anywhere else. If you need any fills then ask in this thread - don't PM me with requests for karaoke; this thread needs a little action.

I do what I can - on usenet I call it sharing the wealth, although I can't currently get there (will be sorted soon) - with torrents I'm not so sure id that's the correct phrase since there are those websites which delight in taking torrents posted freely and then removing the tags so that they can charge people for downloading them Those people pirating us pirates are the reason that the tags on my cover and disc pictures have become larger and more difficult to remove recently; they're even removing the info^h^h^h^h Comments tags from pics, which most people don't even know about and many gfx prgs can't get to.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using a MKP200 from Mr Entertainer, I've tried using another machine but much the same. I put a few folders onto a flash drive and tried a few songs. But there was a 10 second lag between words on screen and music. Should I not be using folders and just have all songs on the root drive? This is all new to me as it's a Christmas present for the kids in my family. Thanks

I'm in my 60's and am more into Rock (AC DC etc) and obviously 60's music. The music these days just doesn't seem to be as good. But hey I'm not knocking it, if people like music (even the current stuff) then great, it's good for the soul.

Again 'I think?' you have to upload on the main site not just the forum, but then I have downlaoded stuff that was 0 Seeded and 0 leechers, took a while but the files came down. So maybe that would be the way forward (main site) you could then include a .txt file giving a link to this thread and then the casual downloaders would see this thread and use it as a request section.

Mark, on that site, you mentioned, I am a Verified Uploader. I'm not sure if I properly uploaded my torrents here. I have about 500,000 karaoke files and am willing and eager to share. Hopefully I will be able to find some new songs here once this forum takes off.

I haven't seen any feedback from the torrents I posted earlier. Just wanted to know if they worked. I can use email to sent individual songs if there are issues with my torrent files.

I love Karaoke, I think it's because of the strong Japanese influence in my upbringing I look forward to meeting more people who enjoy it here, thanx Kitti for opening this thread it's a cool idea. and @dental_guy1951 - these things do take time, but as you can see buddy, we do exist, don't fret mate. Chat with other members while you wait and it might even get people more enthusiastic, plus, people might think this page is only for people who go to karaoke bars or pubs with karaoke and stuff, they might not realize that it's also for anyone who just loves to sing in their car, or at home when no-one is looking, plus us DJ's love to do remixes with them too.
