I only know the original 'Cradle' by Harry Chapin. After the request I searched my drives for Weird Al songa and didn't find 'Kettle', so was happy to download what you shared with us. "Weird Al" Yankovic never recorded or performed the song. It was originally done by Bob Rivers, but most parody songs are wrongly attributed to "Weird Al" on the Internet.
