Pinned How to Create Torrents with uTorrent for Beginners

One user requested they wanted to upload but not sure how, so I decided to make this tutorial.

 

Please follow the steps accordingly and make sure the files are clean or virus free.

 

Failure to check your files for virus infections may cause your account to be blocked permanently.

Step 1

 

Download the latest or Stable version of uTorrent (latest version at the time of writing is 3.5.5)

Install the uTorrent setup file you downloaded and make sure the installation is complete.

Step 2

 

Locate the utorrent shortcut on Desktop

 

Open uTorrent App

 

 

Once the uTorrent App opens,

 

Go to File > Click on Create New Torrent (as shown in the picture below)

Step 3

 

(Add Directory Option)

 

You now need to select the directory containing the files you want to upload

 

 

Once you click on Add Directory, you will be given an option to select the folder containing the files

You can also Select a file if you choose the Add File Option as shown below

Step 4

 

The next step is to Search for Open trackers that will be used in seeding your torrents as well as keeping track of your torrent statistics.

Copy some trackers from here, as this page is always updated.

 

Limit is 15 trackers on Glotorrents and most torrent sites

Don't Use More Than (15) Trackers

 

Always check back to see if there are new trackers or dead trackers to keep your torrents live when you create them.

 

You can copy some of these trackers to a text file and save it on your desktop for future use.

Step 5

 

After pasting the trackers in the trackers text field,

 

Select the Option [start Seeding], it's usually selected by default!

Step 6

 

To finish the torrent creation process, Click on Create to create your torrent file!

Step 7

 

You must now select a location to save the .torrent file that will be used for uploading to torrent sites

eg. GloTorrents

 

 

Step 8

 

Once you see the torrent creation progress, sit tight and wait for the progress to be completed!

 

 

Step 9

 

Once the file is ready for uploading, it will show seeding! Meaning its ready to receive new leechers or downloaders.

Final Step

 

Final Step is to upload your torrent file to Glotorrents.

 

New users will have to Apply For Uploader Status!

Fill the form following the guidelines provided below!

What's your username on GloTorrents?

 

You must enter the username of your account on the main website.!

 

Question 2:

 

Content you want to Upload:

 

Choose only one, we advice you to chose the category you intend to upload your content to.

 

Choosing Movies, TV, Anime, Softwares, Games or More than one will likely get your application denied.

 

If you chose to upload Music during Application, please upload music only since Staff will be checking your uploads from time to time!

 

Question 3:

 

Do you have accounts on any torrent site we can crosscheck?

 

Examples of sites we can cross-check are: 1337x, TPB, ETTV, TGX, ANT

 

If you Chose Yes then remember to answer the next question.

 

Question 4:

 

Please provide a profile link to at least two other torrent sites you upload to.

Question 5:

 

Please tell us why your application should be approved.

 

Explain briefly why we should accept your Application, this can convince us if you fail to answer some of the above questions properly.

 

You have only once chance to convince Staff you're capable of uploading and intend to upload clean torrents only.

Once your application has been accepted, you can now go to the main website and upload.
